It’s a rarity these days that a period home in a popular suburb will be passed in at auction. However acting on behalf of our absent purchaser clients Natasha and Tom, Renowden Buyers Advocates purchased in this fashion on Saturday. Two buyers were vying for the home which only just failed to reach the vendor’s reserve price. After a lengthy negotiation, our clients succeeded in purchasing for just $10,000 more than the pass-in figure. Perhaps it’s a sign of the times, or only an aberration, but passed in auction results of good properties are not something we come across that frequently. But we’ll happily take it when it comes along! Our clients were delighted with the outcome – and so were we 🙂
